How are Fillers Done?

Our physician assesses your skin and asks about allergies and previous fillers before applying numbing cream. Dr. Charles Ivester then injects the AlloClea filler into your skin and massages gently to spread it evenly. These AlloClae Fillers provide structural support and may support your skin’s natural collagen response. You may notice some improvement soon after treatment, with results continuing to develop over time.

This is a non-surgical, in-office procedure that usually takes 30 to 60 minutes with a minimum downtime of 24 to 48 hours. We recommend a follow-up after 2 weeks to check the results. This filler injection can cause temporary redness, bruising, and swelling, but it goes away within a week.

Note: We also offer Fat Transfer as another option for restoring volume using your body’s own fat for natural-looking results.

How Much Filler Goes In Cheeks and Marionette Lines?

The amount of filler depends on volume loss and expected results. We often inject around 2 to 4 filler syringes into the cheeks, and 1 to 2 to reduce the appearance of marionette lines.

Our Facial Fillers can also enhance mid-face volume and improve facial contours. Jawline and Chin Fillers help define facial structure and create a more sculpted, contoured look.

Alloclae treatment may suit the patients who have limited body fat or prefer to avoid surgical procedures.

Patient Concerns About AlloClae Fillers

Patients often want clear information before choosing AlloClae filler for facial rejuvenation. Addressing these concerns helps them understand the procedure and possible risks.

Infection and Inflammatory Reactions

Fillers carry a small risk of local infection. Rare complications may include inflammatory nodules, granulomas, oil cysts, or fat necrosis. Proper sterile technique and experienced injection methods by Royale Med Spa help reduce these risks.

Vascular Complications

Facial injections must avoid important blood vessels. Incorrect placement can rarely cause vascular occlusion, reduced blood supply to the skin, or tissue injury. That is why experienced board-certified doctors like Dr. Charles Ivester follow anatomical guidelines to minimize this risk.

Nerve Irritation or Temporary Numbness

Some patients ask about nerve effects. Rarely, injections close to facial nerves can cause temporary sensations such as numbness, tingling, or changes in feeling.

Pain Sensitivity During Injection

Although numbing agents are used, some patients still experience mild but tolerable pressure or discomfort, especially in sensitive areas such as the under eyes (for tear troughs), nasolabial folds, or marionette lines.

Lumps, Irregularities, or Asymmetry

Patients often worry about lumps, uneven contour, or facial asymmetry after filler placement. These issues may occur if filler distributes unevenly or if swelling temporarily affects the facial balance. But don’t worry, you ae safe in Dr. Charles Ivester’s experienced hands.

Under-Eye Treatment Limitations

The tear trough region has thin skin and delicate anatomy. Some patients may experience prolonged swelling, visible filler, or contouring irregularities. Therefore, we carefully evaluate factors such as skin thickness, tear trough anatomy, fat pad prolapses, and tendency for under-eye swelling because not every under-eye hollow responds well to filler

Natural Appearance Concerns

Many patients worry about looking overfilled or unnatural. Proper injection techniques and gradual correction help maintain natural facial proportions.

Number of Treatment Sessions

While some patients gain improvement in one visit, others may need additional sessions or staged treatments to achieve balanced facial volume.

Lifestyle Factors That Affect Results

Patients often ask why results differ between individuals. Sun exposure, smoking, metabolism, and aging changes may influence how long the filler maintains the volume.

Activity Restrictions After Treatment

To protect the treated area, we often temporarily recommend avoiding intense exercises, heat exposure such as saunas, alcohol consumption, and facial pressure during early recovery.

Interaction With Previous Cosmetic Procedures

Patients who previously received dermal fillers, botox injections, laser treatments, or facial surgery should tell us before the procedure. Because, this history helps determine a safe treatment planning.

Candidate Suitability

Remember every patient is not an ideal candidate. Treatment may be postponed in individuals with active skin infections, uncontrolled medical conditions, severe allergies, pregnancy, or certain medications that increase bleeding risk.

Management of Unsatisfactory Results

Patients sometimes ask how complications or undesired results are handled. Minor irregularities may improve with observation, gentle massage, or medical management, depending on the situation. We thoroughly review all potential risks with the patient and obtain consent before proceeding with treatment.

Our Qualifications and Clinical Safety

Patients often want reassurance about who performs the injections and their medical training. We as experienced providers, follow strict sterile protocols and facial anatomy guidelines to maintain patient safety.

Ethical Questions About Donor Tissue

Because the filler originates from donor adipose tissue, some patients ask about tissue sourcing, donor consent, and ethical considerations. In the consultation, we provide transparent information regarding these standards and try our best to remove any possible doubt in our patient’s mind.
