PRF Treatment in Ogden, UT

Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) utilizes your own blood to treat dark circles, tear troughs, mild volume loss and wrinkled skin.

It stimulates cellular repair, boosts collagen production, and enhances skin quality from within. Royale Aesthetics & Beauty Med Spa, in Ogden, Utah, offers PRF treatment for skin rejuvenation. It’s the best alternative for PRP if you are seeking long-lasting results.

We don’t use any anti-coagulants, which makes it a natural filler. Experienced M.D, Charles Ivester performs the treatment and share the expected results with transparency. You can book a free consultation session.

PRF Treatment for Hair

Cost Of PRF Treatment

The price varies according to the volume, method, treatment area, and your region. The average price for PRF and Vampire Facial (PRF & Microneedling) is between $350 to $2,400 per session.

Most people require 2 to 3 PRF sessions. We offer personalized treatment packages that reduce the total cost. So, call us to get a quote.

How is PRF Treatment Done?

We collect a small blood sample and process it in a centrifuge to isolate platelet-rich fibrin (PRF). We don’t add any anticoagulants and create a gel-like fibrin mesh. This is then injected into your skin after applying the numbing cream.

This fibrin mesh releases the platelets and growth factors slowly. It takes 7 to 10 days compared to a few hours of PRP. They then wake up the repair cells and improve the collagen production, which enhances the skin texture. This procedure takes 60 minutes and you can carry out your routine activities within 24 to 48 hours.

Most patients feel mild to moderate discomfort, particularly in delicate areas such as the under-eyes region. Although, numbing cream reduces pain, but you may still feel pressure, pinching, or a stinging sensation during injections.

Our Extracellular Vesicle (EV) Therapy supports cellular repair and works well alongside PRF to improve skin texture and tone.

Note: If you are uncomfortable with needles or any specific part of the medical procedure, discuss your concerns with us during the consultation.

PRF Treatment Side Effects

Mild redness, tenderness, and swelling may occur, but these effects typically settle within a few days. PRF treatment can rarely cause complications like infection, nodules, and nerve damage due to poor hygiene and lack of experience. However, PRF treatment is generally safe and doesn’t cause any allergic reaction.

Bruising is common, especially in delicate areas like the under eyes. It is temporary but may last several days and can vary based on your skin type, medications, and injection technique.

We have a board-certified aesthetician, Dr. Charles Ivester, who has years of experience and performs the procedures himself. So, you can trust the expert’s hands at Royale Aesthetics and Beauty Med Spa.

Realistic Expectations From PRF

PRF does not give immediate volume like dermal fillers. Results develop gradually as collagen production increases. Early changes may appear within a few weeks, but full improvement takes time. So, results vary between patients. Factors like age, skin quality, lifestyle, and the severity of concerns affect outcomes. Some patients may see subtle improvement rather than dramatic changes.

Remember: PRF improves skin quality but may not correct severe volume loss or deep hollows. In such cases, other treatments or combination approaches like Microneedling may be required.

Pre And Post Treatment Restrictions

These are similar to PRP Treatment. You may need to stop blood-thinning medications, NSAIDs, alcohol, and certain supplements before treatment. These increase the risk of bruising and affect platelet function.

After the treatment, do not apply makeup or expose your skin to heat, sun, or intense activity for 24 to 48 hours. Avoid touching or massaging the treated area unless the doctor recommends it.

Who Should Avoid PRF Treatment?

PRF is not suitable for everyone. You may not be a good candidate if you have blood disorders, low platelet count, active infection, severe systemic illness, or certain cancers. It may also not be suitable if you take blood thinners or have untreated health conditions. So, consult us with your complete medical history to safely evaluate if this is a good option for you or not.
