She was professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. Angie took the time to listen to what I wanted and gave honest, expert advice — the results are natural and exactly what I was hoping for. The experience was smooth from start to finish, and I really appreciated how clean and welcoming the space was. If you’re considering cosmetic treatments, I highly recommend booking with Angie. Forget fancy spas or overpriced gyms — this place is where you actually get your mojo back. Angie is the definition of “doctor goals”: brilliant, caring, and yes, an absolute hottie. Her husband? Equally awesome — the kind of guy who makes you feel healthier just by walking in the room. Together they’re basically the Tom Brady & Gisele of the medical world (but still married and way cooler). Thanks to them, I’m walking out feeling like a younger, stronger, better-looking version of myself.Posted on Coty RoseTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Microdermabrasion Treatment
We start with a consultation session to understand your skin type and the severity of the problem. Our board-certified M.D, Charles Ivester, often uses a microdermabrasion device with a diamond tip wand to perform the procedure.
The device uses light suction to lift away debris, unclog pores, and stimulate circulation as it moves on your face. This treatment is not painful, but most people feel mild or light scratching or vibrating sensations. We also apply hydrating products to calm your skin after the treatment. This procedure usually takes 30 to 45 minutes, and you can return to normal activities the same day.
Remember: Royale Aesthetics and Beauty Med Spa follows strict hygiene protocols and use properly sanitized or disposable tips to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Microdermabrasion On Stretch Marks And Acne Spots
Microdermabrasion only reduces the appearance of stretch marks. This treatment works on the skin surface only, but stretch marks form deeper within the skin. So it slightly smooths the skin and makes expansion lines less noticeable after multiple sessions.
The same goes for pockmarks because Microdermabrasion removes the light scars on the surface. It does not treat the deep and pitted acne scars like ice pick or boxcar scars. Our aesthetic physician guides you about these realistic expectations results in the consultation session.
Note: In rare cases, microdermabrasion may irritate active acne and worsen inflammation, so proper skin evaluation is important before treatment.
Microdermabrasion Against Keratosis Pilaris And Rosacea
Microdermabrasion smooths the texture and reduces the appearance of bumps in keratosis pilaris, but it’s not permanent. It gently exfoliates the build-up of keratin that clogs hair follicles and also removes the dead skin cells.
Microdermabrasion is generally not recommended for people with active rosacea. It involves exfoliation, which leads to severe flare-ups, inflammation, and redness. This treatment may be used in some cases, but only under professional supervision.
It does not treat the underlying cause of rosacea. So it’s important to get a personalized consultation at Royale Med Spa to know if it’s safe for your skin or not.
Is Microdermabrasion Safe?
Yes, Microdermabrasion is generally safe for all skin types except sensitive skin, skin with active rosacea or eczema, active acne breakouts, open wounds and recent chemically peeled or laser treated skins.
Temporary redness, mild swelling, increased sun sensitivity, dryness, or flaking after Microdermabrasion is common. These minor effects usually fade away within 1 to 2 days of treatment.
But Microdermabrasion can lead to complications like cold sores around the mouth, skin discoloration and infection.
Cold sores can be reactivated if there is an irritation or trauma to the skin. Other complications may happen when a doctor doesn’t maintain hygiene or is inexperienced. But, Royale Aesthetics and Beauty Med Spa offers Microdermabrasion treatments under strit medical supervision to avoid such complications.
How Long Does Microdermabrasion Last?
It lasts for a few weeks to months with a single session. It can last longer if you get all 6 to 12 sessions and also the maintenance sessions after 4 to 8 weeks. Our physician guides you about the sessions you require according to your type of concern. Most patients notice smoother and brighter skin immediately, while greater improvements appear after multiple sessions.
