Fat Grafting Procedure
First we remove fat from your belly or thighs via liposuction. Then we centrifuge it to remove debris, blood and get high-quality fat cells.
It takes 30 to 60 minutes, and then the purified fat is injected into the area that needs volume. Dr. Charles Ivester adds extra fat cells into multiple layers of your skin. So, you still have fat cells if the body reabsorbs 30 to 40% of them.
We perform this treatment under anesthesia so you don’t feel any pain. This whole procedure takes 1 to 3 hours, and fat cells start settling in 3 to 4 weeks.
